ENVISION Research Study

January 2, 2023 in Current Studies by Julie  |  No Comments

HIR is currently seeking participants for the ENVISION Research study.

Research suggests that Alzheimer’s disease (AD) may be caused by an abnormal build-up of a protein in the brain called amyloid beta. We are conducting the ENVISION study to confirm if a study drug that has been designed to reduce this build-up can help people with early AD compared to placebo.

We are looking for participants:

  • Ages 60 to 85
  • Diagnosed with either mild cognitive impairment (MCI) due to AD or mild AD dementia
  • Have positive amyloid status

Participation is voluntary and will come at no cost to you. You do not pay for study-related drugs or assessments, and you are free to leave the study at any time. A care partner is necessary to accompany you to visits in order to answer questions about your health and condition.

In addition to evaluations, each study visit will also provide an opportunity for the participant and caregiver to meet with the study team, address any questions they may have, and share their experiences. Participants and/or caregivers may be compensated for their time and travel.

If you are interested in learning more about the ENVISION Research Study and whether your loved one may be eligible to participate, please contact Health Initiatives Research at (479) 575 – 9600 or email at christie.keller@hirclinicaltrials.com
